The 2011 Westwood Dolphin Swimming & Diving Teams

What to Know About the Westwood Swim Team:

A benefit to the member children of Westwood.

Children ages 6yrs – 17yrs. (must be under 18ys to compete in meets)

Swimmer must be able to pass the deep water test.**

Meets are held during the Week.

Transportation provided for scheduled (non-invitational) away meets - bus from Westwood lot

Team Awards Dinner held at end of season (1st Week of August)

Team Sign-up will take place at the pool office starting June 7, 2010 at 3:30

$75.00 additional fee

Team Suit self purchase $45-$60

Member of the Westchester Southern Swim Conference

**6-8yrs old- must be able to swim in deep end of pool safely

+ Swim Team sign up begins on Saturday, June 11th. Time TBA

(All swimmers must have their doctor information before entering the pool)

+ Pre-Season swimming starts on Monday, June 6th from 3:30 to 5pm

(Monday - Thursday until regular season starts)

+ Sign-up for all lessons (tennis, swim, diving, etc.) will be on Saturday, June 11th

+ Lessons run 6 weeks...June 27-Aug. 4

(No Lessons on July 4th)

+ Counties are the week of August 1st

+ Conferences are the week of August 8th

Westwood Swim team is not connected to a day camp.

Swim team members must be off deck after practice.

Swim Team Members may not remain at pool until general opening at 12noon

unless participating in another practice/lesson on-site

Monday	July 25	Westwood vs Winged Foot (home) 9am start
